Iliff Avenue. They have a meeting room that we will use. Their menu, which is reasonably priced, has lots of choices and includes sandwiches, burgers, specialty pastas and Southwestern favorites, prime rib, steaks, chicken, pot roast, appetizers, soups, salads, desserts, etc. Hopefully everyone will pur-chase something for dinner, as they are not charging us to use their meeting room. There will be no additional fees for mem-bers or non-members tonight.

The holiday gift exchange has been an annual event for our club and everyone seems to en-joy it. Please make sure the item you bring for the gift exchange is “a nice gift,” in other words, something you would like to receive yourself. To participate in it you need to bring a wrapped gift with a value of at least $10.00. NO JUNK, PLEASE! Everyone will re-ceive a number and from these numbers we will pick the order that members draw the gifts. We will also decide how many times we will allow the gift to be passed around before it finds its final home. At the end members can exchange gifts with others if they wish to.

If you have some ideas for holiday games or other fun activities we could do at our holiday party, if time permits, please let Rosalie know by De-cember 27. If you would like to assist with the gift exchange please let Rosalie know also. Please remember to invite other single people you know to this event and our meetings and activities, as we always like to in-crease the size of our club. Guests can come to a few events and then hopefully they will join our club. Hosts of events are encouraged to speak to guests that come on a regular basis to join our club as our dues are very reasonable (only $25.00 a year).
