Annual Holiday Party & Gift Exchange
Sunday, December 21, Annual Holiday Party and Gift Exchange at Blossoms in Windsor Gardens, 595 S. Clinton, Denver, CO 80247. Their phone number is 303-364-7485. As we discussed at the Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner everyone wanted to have this meeting as a brunch instead of an evening meeting so we are meeting at Blossoms (they used to be at Heather Gardens) at 11:00 AM and will eat around 11:30 AM at their breakfast buffet. The cost for the buffet will be $8.95 plus tax and tip and we will request separate checks. Breakfast includes coffee, juice, bacon, sausage, hash browns, fresh fruit, pastries, homemade waffles, cooked eggs, omelets to order and today will also be Eggs Benedict.  Please RSVP to Rosalie at 303-751-1226 by Thursday, December 18 or before, if you are going or not going, as I have to give Blossoms a head count. We will have our own area to have our usual Gift Exchange. The holiday gift exchange has been an annual event for our club and everyone seems to enjoy it. Please make sure the item you bring for the gift exchange is “a nice gift” in other words, something you would like to receive yourself. It can be something funny or useful. To participate in it you need to bring a wrapped gift with a value of at least $10.00. NO JUNK, PLEASE! Everyone will receive a number and from these numbers we will pick the order that members draw the gifts. We will also decide how many times we will allow the gift to be passed around before it finds its final home. At the end members can exchange gifts with others if they wish to. If you would like to assist with the gift exchange or have some other ideas for this holiday party, please let Rosalie know at 303-751-1226. Please remember to invite other single people you know to this Annual Holiday Party and Gift Exchange as we always like to increase the size of our club. Guests can come to a few events and then hopefully they will join our club. Hosts of events are encouraged to speak to guests that come on a regular basis to join our club as our dues are very reasonable (only $25.00 a year).
